# What is best-effort bandwidth?

Unlike the guaranteed bandwidth included with our Pro and Reseller/Enterprise plans, “best-effort” bandwidth is not guaranteed and is limited to reasonable use under a “fair use policy”.

With best-effort bandwidth, you may not host services such as:

- VOD content or audio podcasts

- audio/video streaming (IPTV, VoIP, teleconferencing)

- software downloads/updates and cloud file hosting (ownCloud, Nextcloud, Seafile, etc.)

- online gaming

If you wish to stream audio/video, uploading the source stream or streams to
Belstream.com
is permitted.
