Here is the procedure to follow:

- Ask your current registrar to remove transfer protection.

- Ask your current registrar for the transfer code, also called an EPP code or AUTH code.

- Make sure the Domain Owner's current email address is functional, as some Registries require email validation.

Advanced tip: About a week before the transfer, go to your current registrar's DNS management interface and change the "TTL" value of each record to "3600" (1 hour) or "300" (5 minutes), if possible.
